Snow Days
We too were snowed in during "Winter Blast '08." We took Joey out in it once but he didn't like it for too long. We snowboarded around our neighborhood (me and Josh... not jojo). Josh took some beautiful pictures when he snowboarded down to the ferry dock. The pics of me snowboarding are on our other camera and that one is out of batteries, but I swear I did it!

Josh's Bday at the Summit Inn
For Josh's 31st birthday we went to the Summit Inn even though there was no snow (yet). Joey had a lot of fun playing in the water in his french bathing suit (thanks les parents!).

We're Back...
So funny story.... Joey loves to hide things. Everything he gets his hands on he will stuff under the couch or under his bed, etc. A few weeks ago I realized our cord to hook up our camera to the computer was missing. I have been searching for it everywhere. We have not been able to post anything to our blog because we have had no way to get pictures off the camera. Although, I did like having the posts up about my grandpa for an extended period of time we were ready to get some new stuff posted. I have been so worried the cord was gone forever. I thought I had looked everywhere and was ready to give up. Well on Christmas day Josh found the cord! It was wrapped inside a shirt and stuffed behind his nightstand!! Hilarious! So now I must catch everyone up on the last few weeks. Enjoy:)

And now the saddest...
My wonderful grandpa who I love SO MUCH passed away very early Friday morning. My heart is broken and I miss him terribly. My grandpa was one of the best men I have ever known. He loved me with all of his heart and I knew that every time I was with him. I can't believe I will never walk into my grandparent's house again to see him so happy to see me or call their house to hear... Rachelle... never heard of her. Growing up I counted on my grandpa for so much and he was always there for me. He was my number one fan and supporter. I honestly don't know what I am going to do without him. Please keep him and my grandma in your prayers. There will be a service later this week. I can't believe this is real!

BEST MOMENT OF MY LIFE!!
Jojo has been saying mamamamamamama for months now. More of a rambling than a real "mama." But for the last couple weeks I have been really working on him to say mama and he has been doing it after I ask him to "say mama" over and over and over again (I'm sure I'm annoying him so much). Well yesterday I was sitting with Josh on our couch showing him the cute video of Cody on the Millers' blog and of course Joey wanted to get up and see too, so Josh picked him up and put him on his lap and we were all watching the video. Then out of the blue, Joey leaned over toward me and patted his hand on my chest and distinctly with perfect annunciation said "MAMA!" Needless to say, I flipped out and was so excited. I am tearing up right now as I write this. It was definitely without a doubt the greatest moment of my life and I have had some great moments. I love my son so much and hearing his cute little voice makes me want to throw up (from happiness).
