We had so much fun with Colin, Tate and Erin at Whale Tail and Alki School playgrounds yesterday. Although on our walk down to the park, we almost got hit by a car. A lady stopped for us to cross Admiral Way, but then a really dumb driver pulled out from a side street to turn onto Admiral and almost turned right into us. Josh was screaming at her to stop and pretty much jumped on her hood. I just went weak in the knees and started crying (I really need to figure out how to pull myself together in these times of crisis that keep happening to us:). The thing was... why would you think someone was just stopping on a main arterial to let you turn in front of them!! Anyways, then we went to Starbucks to get coffees and breakfast and the nicest lady behind us in line bought all our stuff!!! It was all Joey... people fall in love with him wherever we go:) It was such a nice thing to do.... now we need to pay it forward.
I'm finally posting the pics from the President's Day outing Becky and I took with the three kids.
Si missing his mommy...
Joey sketching Luka's beatiful face.
Si and JoJo discussing world issues over a cup of coffee.
Becky and the kiddos.
Me... so happy to be with the cutie cuties.
And if that was not enough photos.... here is a link to 81 pictures from our stop at the coffee shop... lol. We definitely looked like hilarious baby crazy moms!
We unexpectedly had the best Valentine's Day! We had nothing planned, but ended up doing so much fun stuff. We went to the Pacific Science Center and saw the Lucy exhibit. Then we went to eat Sushi in the Junction. Next it was cupcakes and coffee.... my favorite. Of course we had to throw in a trip to Home Depot and then finally Westwood Village to rent movies and look around at Target. I know it doesn't seem that wild, but it doesn't take much when you feel like you have been cooped up in your house for the longest Winter ever!!! What a fun day!
Thank you Mattea for emailing me pictures from our weekend because I promised my friend Josh Tam I would update this blog last night and I forgot.
So here are some pics from our weekend in the mountains. It was so much fun and I still can't believe my dad out-partied every single person EVERY NIGHT!!! He's a machine! I was the first adult in bed 2 out of the 3 nights. I'm lame!
