Joey took his first plane ride. We flew to Reno, NV and then drove to Gold Hill, NV for Grandpa Joe and Grandma Deanna's wedding. The wedding took place outside the hotel on a gazebo with the beautiful Sierra mountains in the background. Joey was in the wedding with four of his cousins. After a short and sweet ceremony we danced the night away in the old Gold Hill Hotel. We also took a scenic train ride through Virginia City and Gold Hill on an old miners train and learned about the town's interesting past. After a couple days, we left Gold Hill and drove through Lake Tahoe to get to my dad's house in California. We spent a couple more days just relaxing, swimming, playing and visiting at my dad's house and then it was back to Seattle. The kids did great on the plane. The trip was a success!
